Henry Koretzky has been performing as a mandolinist, guitarist, and singer since the 1980s.  He has played in a wide variety of groups and styles, from bluegrass (Cornerstone, High Strung, Sweetwater Reunion) to klezmer (Old World Folk Band) to contradance music (Medicinal Purpose), as well as swing and jazz, celtic, folk, and with singer/songwriters.
 

He is still involved with a broad range of groups, including:
--The Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble = A quartet drawing on the old tradition of mandolin orchestras and featuring an eclectic mix of songs and tunes.
--The Contra Rebels = A trio with fiddlers/singers Todd Clewell  & Barb Schmid that plays music for contradances, as well as concert sets presenting old-time and folk.

- Kevin Neidig & Henry Koretzky = An Americana duo with a talented singer/songwriter/guitarist.
--The Launies = A Celtic group fronted by singer/guitarist Jamie O'Brien of Tucson, AZ.
--Unbowed = A contradance band fronted by mandolin as lead instrument.
--Sink Or Swing = A vocally-based swing quartet comprised of clarinet, mandolin, guitar and bass.
--Sweet Nothings = A folk trio led by singer/songwriter/guitarist K.J. Reimensnyder-Wagner.
--The O'Henrys = A duo with singer/guitarist Mike Henry that ranges from celtic to folk to bluegrass.
--The Gnutones = A contradance trio led by fiddler Bruce Young.
--And duos and trios with multi-instrumentalists/vocalists such as Ken Gehret and Alexander Mitchell.
In addition, Henry also performs as a soloist, and teaches mandolin, guitar, and hammered dulcimer both in person and via Zoom.  He also is a regular staff instructor at the annual Folk College and Folk Gathering music camps.
